At Freedom Reigns Counseling we are passionate about people being healed and set free to live life abundant. We take an alternative approach to traditional counseling by partnering clients with horses during sessions. We desire to walk with clients to empower growth, healing and restoration personally and relationally.

equine specialist in equine assisted psychotherapy and equine assisted

Who We Are:
Lesli
has personally experienced the transforming power of relationships with
horses. She grew up owning and competing horses and spending summers
on her
grandparents' Windy Hill Ranch, a horse breeding and training facility.
She has been working in the equine assisted counseling field since 2008
where she began as a horse specialist and later
moved into the counselor role. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in
Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University and a Master of Arts
degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from
Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. She is licensed in the state
of Texas. Her major experience is in providing equine assisted
counseling for individuals and groups for children, adolescents,
teens and adults as well as in family settings providing parent
consultations. Prior to entering the equine assisted counseling field,
Lesli coached the equestrian team at the University of Georgia
where she assisted them in winning the 2008 National Championship.
