January Hearing God Event

We recently had a Hearing God Event at our property. It was an unusually beautiful winter day for January.  God spoke identity, destiny, healing and His Father's heart.  Several people have been asking about these events and expressed interest in learning more. One of our participants has offered to share her experience with you. Enjoy reading about her time in her words below.

As we arrived we were greeted by all the dogs as if they were expecting us.  A divine encounter hung in the air.  As we circled our chairs and niceties and instructions were exchanged, I wondered "what brought all these women here?"  We were encouraged to be present and give our full attention to the moment.  After a powerful demonstration of how everyone can do the same thing and get different results we were released to hear God on our own.
Kairos, a very majestic and confident dapple grey, greeted me at the gate as if to say, "It is time!"
Tea, a demure buckskin was off to the side inviting us to sit, rest and take it all in.  She was very quiet as if she had a story to tell.  I couldn't help but wonder how she got her name.  Tea made me think that she had experienced some "hot water" in order to reveal her true flavor.

As I watched the horses interact, I noticed a miniature Paint named Dominot "Not" for short who was very feisty.  He was kicking at Kairos as if to say, "I am not having it!"  As he passed by me I found myself telling him, "You need to stop focusing on what you are not and embrace who you are, then you won't have to kick against God's Kairos timing." As soon as these words left my mouth I knew this message was for me.

Kairos ran past me two times full speed, the ground shook and so did my insides.  I had a knowing I was made to run as well.

As I stood observing all the animals, Lelu, one of the dogs came and stood in front of me.  As I leaned down to pet her, the Lord said, "sometimes I call you to be still to provide shade for others."

As I continued to take all the animals activities in I noticed Tea.  She was in the back corner of the pasture.  She kept trying to open the gate or to get someone else to open the gate for her.  I wondered how many times I had missed out on what God had for me in the moment because I was focusing on being somewhere else.

I loved the circle time afterward as we all had opportunity to share what we heard.  I left loving God more and with an appreciation for my new family members in Christ that I had just met.  In the end, I believe the common thread that brought us all together was a hungry heart to know and hear our Father's voice.

I can only speak for myself, but I believe our mission was accomplished.

Blessings,
